T.I Joins TIDAL Wave

Paperwork, was T.I‘s last album released under Columbia Records in 2014. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. This week,  T.I had a pop-up performance and he also announced that he is a new artist co-owner of TIDAL.

He has signed a distribution deal with Roc Nation and he will be releasing his upcoming album, Dime Trap in the near future. TIDAL will have exclusively have T.I’s album as of now. If you missed the Soul Train Awards this year, hosted by Ms. Erykah Badu… Then you might want to find a place to watch it again. During her opening skits, she makes hilarious jokes and puns to get things started. However the biggest shot went out when she SHADED female artist, Iggy Azalea. (Whoops was the shade too?)Iggy has been silent thus far, as she has been laying low post her T.I. drama. We think she knows whats best for the business. Take a look at the clip below

We know that’s right! You better preach that Baduism! The REAL question is… Who else needs to be shot at? BET AWARDS 2013 BEST LINE UP YET

Last night in the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles,CA, the stars and fans were out for the 2013 BET Awards. It was the best performance line up to date for Black Entertainment Television.

 Chris Brown opened the show with “Fine China” and Nicki Minaj floats in to perform “Like This”. BET definitely stepped it up with staging!!

 Robin Thicke performed his hit ” Blurred Lines” with Pharrell and T.I .

Kendrick Lamar performs “M.A.A.D City” and brings out Erykah Badu for “B**** Don’t Kill My Vibe”. His sets are always fire. GO KENDRICK!

 R.Kelly had an extravagant “Best of R.Kelly” performance which was cherry topped by his spiked covered ensamble…(why did he do that? really?)

 Mariah Carey sang? her new single “Beautiful Remix” with multi-performing Miguel and Young Jeezy . Jeezy wrapped it up and performed ” RIP”.

Miguel also performed “How Many Drinks” with Kendrick Lamar in a Shag jacket. Hmm.. Very Rock and Roll meets Soul.

Charlie Wilson was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award and was honored in song by India Arie, Jamie Foxx and Stevie Wonder. He soon joined the performers continuing the medley of his hits with Justin Timberlake, Snoop Lion and Pharrell.
