MARVEL ANNOUNCES UPCOMING PROJECTS

Marvel Studios announced a lot of exciting works coming in the near future!  There will be an Avengers sequel, Avengers Infinity War.  It will be released in two parts May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019. Along with new films come new characters.  The studio also plans on introducing the Black Panther. The superhero will be played by 42 and Get On Up star, Chadwick Boseman!

This will be Marvel’s first solo black superhero in the films, Civil War and  Black Panther in 2017. Another newbie will be Captain Marvel, the first solo female superhero! There will be more new characters but let’s leave a bit for a surprise. There will also be trilogies for Captain America and Thor. Who’s excited??? Vote for your favorite Avenger !

Lil’ Wayne Delays “Tha Carter V” Release

Mr. Carter’s 11th studio album “Tha Carter V” was set to release yesterday, however he made the decision to push the date back. There was justification from the artist while he explained in a video that he’s been working hard on the LP.

Due to cd track limits, he’ll be dropping the project in two parts. There’s a current count of 31 songs and the first part was confirmed to be coming out on December 9, 2014.  Sorry fans. I’m sure the wait will be worth it .

“Not Tonight” Reunion Set For Soul Train Awards 2014

   Lil’ Kim, Missy Elliot and Da Brat are set to reunite at the 2014 Soul Train Awards,is set to record on November 5 and air November 30. The trio are going to perform their 90s hit and pay homage to Kool & The Gang.

    Kool & The Gang were the originators in 1978 with “Ladies Night”. In 1997, the track was remade by Lil’ Kim, Missy, Da Brat, Angie Martinez and the missed Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez. The 2014 Soul Train Awards will air on the Centric Network.

Mrs. Carter Builds Brand With Topshop

Beyonce stings again!  Queen Bey has made a 50/50 deal with the British Apparel company Topshop. She is a fan of the brand and plans on launching a Athleisure line. The owner of Top Shop, Sir Philip Green stated in Women’s Wear Daily, 

“This is not a collaboration. This is about building a brand and building a business— a separate, proper business with separate overheard and a separate office.”

Topshop currently has a six stores in the United States and plans to open a seventh location on Fifth Avenue in New York City, November 5,2014. Rumor has it that the new Bey team is looking to hire staff like designers! Keep an eye out!
