A Letter From The Founder Anique Hameed :
In light of the recent tragedy of over 200 schoolgirls being taken and possibly put up for sale in Nigeria I’ve decided to start a campaign #NotforSale.
We as women are not for sale. There is a consciousness that supports the objectification of women and lends support to the systems of sex trafficking, capturing and selling women as brides, and more. Whether it’s for reality TV or for the pleasure of men, our physical selves and spiritual selves are not for sale.
This campaign is a reminder to everyone of the intrinsic value of each individual woman across the world and that a price cannot be placed on our bodies.
Please take a photo or short video of yourself, your daughters, sisters, sorors, granddaughters and share why you and the women you love are #Notforsale. Please also utilize the hashtag #bringbackourgirls.
