It may be Big Sean‘s song but…Kendrick Lamar‘s verse stole the limelight. Last night Kendrick’s lyrics took over social networks causing a frenzy! Claiming to be the King of Both Coasts, he called out some of his fellow Rap colleagues and Miley Cyrus.
I heard barber shops debate the greats all the time

Hip Hop Junkies, what do we think about these bars? We love us some Kendrick SOOOOOO. We see this as good sports.Athletes compete everyday and are friends outside of that. Great Hip-Hop can be the same way. Bars versus bars. Simple as that. No real beef. It’s good to see someone stir up the music world like this. Makes things interesting!
Another day , another event. Sharpton Entertainment brings you their 8th Annual Essence of Ebony Fashion Showcase .
On Monday , August 5,2013. Sharpton Entertainment hosted a cross generational discussion hosted by, the Rev.Dr. Al Sharpton and VP of Sharpton Ent. Dominique Sharpton. Some of the panelist included Vh1 Gossip Game’s Viv , Blogxilla, Global Grind’s Michael Skolni and more.
The event was an open discussion with the panelist and community members concerned with the aftermath of the Trayvon Martin verdict. Everyone had different opinions on what they felt was wrong or could be down. Tears were shed as everyone joined peaceful to express their uncut feelings. It was an amazing testimony of sorts. This has been a big month for the Sharpton Entertainment company and it’s just the beginning for the fight for justice.
I wont spoil all the juice that’s going to go down at the Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta reunion but there’s still juice spilling from the last episode that has viewers wondering… What happened after that vicious elevator fight between Stevie J and his “teammates”…
Well, Hip-Hop Weekly recently sat down with Stevie to clear the air. He in fact confirmed marriage to Joseline Hernandez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Check out some of the interviews below:
HHW: Now that you’ve gone to a Justice of the Peace, will you do another ceremony?
STEVIE J: When the show permits, we’ll do it on the show or something, or have our own show and have some kids on the show.
HHW: How are you going to deal with Mimi now that you and Joseline are a solid couple?
STEVIE J: There’s some jealousy there but I don’t believe there’s enough to where there would be a problem. Joseline is my wife now, and Mimi is the mother of my child. Not a whole lot can be done. But I can make sure that Mimi will always be good. That’s not going to change. But I’m married now — I’m married now!
HHW: How does it feel?
STEVIE J: I feel great!
HHW: How does Joseline feel?
STEVIE J: She’s got the best f—— man in the whole world.
The reunions part 1 & 2 are set to air Monday,August 5 & 12 at 8pm ET on VH1.
