Actress Kerry Washington is nominated for Lead Actress in her ABC Drama, ‘Scandal’. She’s the first African American woman to earn a Best Actress Emmy nomination in 18 years! Which was won by Cicely Tyson in 1995 for an NBC Drama. Alongside Kerry, another great talent was nominated for Lead Actor.
Don Cheadle has snagged the nomination for Lead Actor for his comedy series ‘House of Lies’. the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards will air on CBS/ 8pm Est. September 22,2013.
